God's Promises to Believers!

Throughout His Word, God makes a lot of promises to Believers! How many promises are there? Some folks have speculated as many as 7,000 ... that's a lot! So, Good News Dispatch has set to out to try to capture all the promises God has given to those who believe in Him.

Given such a gracious God we serve, trying to capture all His promises will certainly be an undertaking, and your help would be much appreciated! If you know of a verse that isn't showing, send it in, along with the book, chapter and verse number, and it will get posted, as long as it is a promise.

God's Great Promises

1. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved ... Rom 10:9.
2. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life ... John 3:16.
3. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh ... Ezekiel 36:26.
4. So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened ... Luke 11:9-10.
5. Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary ... Galatians 6:9.
6. Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight ... Proverbs 3:5-6.
7. Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart ... Psalm 37:4.
8. When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him ... Proverbs 16:7.
9. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus ... Philippians 4:6-7.
10. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow ... James 1:17.
11. And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus ... Philippians 4:19.
12. Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! ... Matthew 7:9-11.
13. Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary ... Isaiah 40:31.
14. Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him ... James 1:12.
15. The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace ... Psalm 29:11.
16. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success ... Joshua 1:8.
17. The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe ... Proverbs 18:10.
18. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me ... Philippians 4:13.
19. You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance ... Psalm 32:7.
20. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them ... Psalm 34:7.
21. The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry ... Psalm 34:15.
22. The righteous cry, and the LORD hears And delivers them out of all their troubles ... Psalm 35:17.
23. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind ... 2 Timothy 1:7.
24. Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you ... Matthew 6:31-33.
25. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you ... Luke 6:38.
26. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you ... Isaiah 43:02.
27. Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand ... Isaiah 41:10.
28. O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God! ... Psalm 68:35.
29. Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s ... Psalm 103:1-5.
30. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me ... Psalm 138:7.
31. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope ... Jeremiah 29:11.
32. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also ... John 14:2-3.
33. My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh ... Proverbs 4:20-22.
34. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need ... Hebrews 4:16.
35. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls ... Matthew 11:28-29.
36. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened ... Matthew 7:7-8.
37. God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed ...

38. Whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight ... 1 John 3:22.
39. All things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive ... Matthew 21:22.
40. For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His ... 2 Chron 16:9.
41. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you ... Isaiah 43:2.
42. For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus ... Philippians 1:6.
