Bible Verses on Healing

One of the best prescriptions that we can have in our life is the Word of God! And we can take it all the time! Thankfully, the Lord has filled His Word with verses that we can keep in our heart, meditate on when needed, and talk to Him about as the need arises.

How many times have you found yourself in a situation where you wished you could remember anything in God's Word to sooth your soul? Without a doubt, we have all found ourselves there at some time in our lives. Hopefully, these verses will be helpful to you, or provide you with scripture that you can share with someone else.

When you think about healing, remember, doctors have been around thousands of years, so there must be a reason for them. Think Luke ... Col 4:14. Luke was a beloved physician who traveled with Paul. You can always pray that God provides you with a good doctor.

Don't forget, too, that sometimes laughter is a good medicine ... Prov 17:22! Even the medical industry has started to understand the benefits of laughing. The Mayo Clinic, one of the top ranked hospitals in the U.S., says laughing is a great stress reliever. You know what is most interesting about Mayo's findings? ... God already knew that!

Before we get to the verses, GND was made aware of a site that we wanted to share with you. How many of you know what Crohn's Disease is, know someone who has Crohn's, or you have it yourself? If you answered yes to any of these, please check out Parenting With Crohn's. This site is maintained by a wonderful Christian lady who created this site while spending a week in the hospital because of a Crohn's flare. If you find this site useful, inspiring, informative, and perhaps beneficial to someone else, please share with others!

And now to our verses! If you are aware of a verse that would be good for this page, please send the verse to GND for possible inclusion on the page.
