Thanksgiving 365!

For many folks, Thanksgiving is a one-day event. However, giving thanks to God is taught throughout Scripture in both the old and new testaments. Each day should be a day of thanksgiving to God and a lifestyle among God's people.

As much as we complain about things going on in our lives, we need to stop and thank God each day for all the blessings He has provided us with! And if you're even thinking what have you got to be thankful for, you need to look straight up each day and thank God for your salvation!

Check out the following verses that deal with giving thanks to God, and if you are looking for more verses, check out the Praise and Worship page. To get started, let's begin with Psalm 100.

1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!

2 Serve the LORD with gladness;
       Come before His presence with singing.

3 Know that the LORD, He is God;
       It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
       We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
       And into His courts with praise.
       Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

5 For the LORD is good;
       His mercy is everlasting,
       And His truth endures to all generations.
